Political Solidarity Posters

Founded in Havana in 1966, OSPAAAL (Organization of Solidarity with the People of Asia, Africa, and Latin America) was an international organization dedicated to connecting and supporting activists and liberation movements around the world.

Its origins trace back to the landmark Tricontinental Conference held in Cuba in 1966, which brought together representatives from more than 80 countries across the Global South. The conference marked a pivotal moment in global political solidarity, uniting movements from Asia, Africa, and Latin America and taking a firm stand against imperialism and colonialism. OSPAAAL’s powerful graphic posters became lasting symbols of this international struggle and remain highly sought after by collectors today.
